Black Survival in
White America:
From Past History to the Next Century

Ms. Davis has spent most of her professional life in the study of the African American experience in America and the world. Her search for answers has led her on a never-ending journey into books, libraries, and museums crisscrossing the globe. An inquisitive visit to the Egyptian Museum in East Berlin in 1977 (when the wall was still up) was the catalyst for this book. “Black Survival….” takes the reader on a journey through time, showing the great history of our people prior to slavery, to present day. The vast bibliography in this text rewards the
reader with sources from which she obtained the information, so they, if they so choose, can research on their own.
